I have not posted much more from the Microsoft Windows side. To balance between both worlds (Linux and Windows) I will try to post some good things about Windows.
Microsoft has a good module in its Windows Live Essentials 2011 which is called family safety. It is a pretty straight forward module which monitors the internet activity of the users in your system and mails to your Hotmail ID about suspicious activity and other users request for web site access. If you select child safety it is very strict in allowing online access. It even blocks the most legitimate sites also. But if you tweak it according to your needs it is a very good tool and can save you money. It is available for Windows XP, Vista and 7 OSes.
