Google Public Alerts

Google Public Alerts is Google’s new platform for alerting you with emergency messages such as evacuation notices for hurricanes, and everyday alerts such as storm warnings. This service will show relevant weather, public safety and earthquake alerts from US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the National Weather Service, and the US Geological Survey (USGS) when you search on Google Maps.

Google Public Alerts is a project of the Google Crisis Response team, supported by Google.org, which uses Google's strengths in information and technology to build products and advocate for policies that address global challenges. We hope Google Public Alerts provides the public with information it needs to make better decisions in times of crisis.

Pre-boot scan your system with Windows Defender Offline Beta

Windows Defender Offline Beta can detect malicious and potentially unwanted software, and then notify you of the risks.

To use Windows Defender Offline Beta, you need to follow four basic steps:

Download Windows Defender Offline Beta and create a CD, DVD, or USB flash drive.

Restart your PC using the Windows Defender Offline Beta media.

Scan your PC for malicious and other potentially unwanted software.

Remove any malware that is found from your PC.

Note: I have not used this but seems that it will definitely work for Windows as it is from Microsoft
